Rooting Instructions
- Modifying / replacing your phone's software may void the phone's warranty and may render phone to 'brick' status - meaning your phone will not be worth much more than a brick.

- Unlocking the bootloader on most phones will automatically wipe all data.
- Always backup your current Apps/Data/SMS Messages before performing any type of rooting procedure. Find these backup apps on Google Play.

Rooting Phone
- Download and install Motorola USB Drivers.
- Download and extract SafeRoot Tool to desktop.
- Download and extract RootFiles to desktop.
- Enable USB debugging: Menu --> Settings --> Applications --> Development
- Enable Unknown Sources: Menu --> Settings --> Security --> Unknown Sources
- Connect phone to computer via USB data cable.
- From the RootFiles folder, double click on the Open Command Prompt.
- From command prompt type: adb install rootcheck.apk.
- Open the Saferoot folder (extracted in earlier step) and start the 'install.bat' file by double-clicking it.
- Rooting script will start and SuperSU will be pushed to your device.
- At the completion of rooting procedure, phone will reboot automatically.
- When phone boots up, the SuperSU app should be in app drawer.
- Start RootChecker on your phone (installed in earlier step) to verify root privileges. If phone is rooted, phone should display below screen shot:
Booting into Recovery Mode:
Volume Down + Power
Booting into Bootloader:
Volume Up + Volume Down + Power
On the next screen use Volume Down to scroll to bootloader and then use Volume Up to select.
Booting into Fastboot:
Volume Up + Volume Down + Power
On the next screen use Volume Down to scroll to bootloader and then use Volume Up to select.
