Rooting Instructions
- Modifying / replacing your phone's software may void the phone's warranty and may render phone to 'brick' status - meaning your phone will not be worth much more than a brick.
- Rooting a phone is entirely at your own risk. No one affiliated with ROMWarez is responsible for your decision to root your phone.
- Unlocking the bootloader on most phones will automatically wipe all data.
- Ensure phone is fully charged.
- Always backup your current Apps/Data/SMS Messages before performing any type of rooting procedure. Find these backup apps on Google Play.

Rooting Phone
- Download and install the phone's USB drivers for computer.
- Download and extract 'Universal Root' zip into a folder on computer desktop.
- Download and FreeGee.
- Enable USB debugging: Menu --> Settings --> Applications --> Development
- Enable Unknown Sources: Menu --> Settings --> Applications
- Ensure phone is placed in 'Charge Only' mode.
- Connect the phone to the computer through USB and wait for at least 3 minutes before continuing to ensure computer recognizes phone.
- Open 'Universal Root' folder on desktop and double click the 'Open-Command-Prompt' file.
- Check connectivity between phone and computer by typing: adb devices
- If serial number is displayed after typing above command, continue to next step.
- From 'Universal Root' folder, double click 'CurrentRoot.bat' to start.
- When prompted to enable MTP (Media Tranfer Protocol) mode, swipe notification area and enable USB Mass Storage.
- Phone will reboot.
- After phone is fully rebooted, set phone back into 'Charge Only' Mode.
- Open FreeGee (installed in earlier step) and follow on-screen instructions.
- Phone is rooted!
